• Know the properties of cleaning materials and use them correctly
• Keep all areas well presented and in good condition
• Treat residents with dignity and respect, including their personal space and belongings

This bank Housekeeping Assistant post supports the housekeeping and laundry team at Acorn Lodge Care Home, run by Avery Healthcare Group. The work centres on keeping cleaning and laundry to the required standard across the home, following the company's housekeeping and laundry procedures to hotel-style service levels. The post is bank work, suited to someone who can cover a range of tasks at short notice and treats residents' dignity and belongings with care. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are needed.
