Job summary

Advinia Health Care is seeking a diligent cleaner for our care home in Louth. The role requires maintaining cleanliness in bedrooms, corridors and communal areas, with daily and weekly tasks including waste disposal, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.

You will work as part of a friendly team to uphold high standards of resident comfort and dignity. The role emphasizes a caring approach, excellent people skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bedrooms, corridors and public areas are kept clean to the required standard.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including waste disposal, vacuuming and mopping.
• Clean dining rooms, lounges and lavatories; wipe taps and sinks; dust and polish surfaces.
• Restock toiletries, towels and maintain tidy storage areas as needed.
• Assist with Linen Room duties and use supplies efficiently.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
