Job summary

Advinia Health Care in Huddersfield is seeking a dedicated cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident areas. You will perform daily cleaning tasks in bedrooms, corridors and public spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role involves routine cleaning, stocking supplies, and supporting the team with weekly duties. No prior experience is required as comprehensive induction and training are provided, with opportunities for

• Keep bedrooms, corridors and public areas clean to the required standard
• Daily cleaning tasks including emptying waste, vacuuming, mopping and surface cleaning
• Weekly tasks such as polishing mirrors, dusting radiators and windowsills
• Restock toiletries and towels, maintain stock levels and use supplies efficiently
• Assist with Linen Room duties and keep storage areas tidy

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
