Job summary

Advinia Health Care is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards across bedrooms, corridors and public spaces in our UK care homes. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, assist with linen duties, and ensure supplies are stocked, with a focus on resident wellbeing and a respectful, supportive environment.

The role offers induction with full training, opportunities for progression, and a flexible pay structure. A caring, team-oriented approach is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bedrooms, corridors and public areas are clean to standard.
• Daily cleaning tasks include waste removal, vacuuming and mopping.
• Clean dining rooms, lounges, lavatories, taps and sinks.
• Spot clean floors, dust surfaces and polish fixtures.
• Restock toiletries and maintain supplies; assist Linen Room duties.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
