Job summary

Advinia Health Care is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team in Scotland. You will help maintain high cleaning standards across bedrooms, corridors and public areas in our care home, supporting resident wellbeing and comfort.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, restock essentials, and work as part of a friendly, supportive team. No previous experience is necessary as full induction and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning role suitable for all; no prior experience required.
• Role can be physically demanding; you will stay active.
• Good communication and a positive attitude are important.
• Willingness to work as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bedrooms, corridors and public areas are kept clean to standard.
• Daily cleaning: waste bins, wiping, vacuuming and mopping.
• Clean dining rooms, lounges, lavatories, taps and sinks.
• Weekly cleaning: polish mirrors, dust furniture, rails and windowsills.
• Restock toiletries and supplies; use resources efficiently.
• Assist with Linen Room duties and keep storage tidy.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
