Job summary

Advinia Healthcare is recruiting for a caring and dedicated Cleaning Assistant to support our care homes across the UK. You will help maintain clean bedrooms, corridors and communal areas, following our high standards and daily/weekly cleaning routines.

The role is physical and requires reliable, friendly individuals with good communication. Full induction, training and a supportive team environment are provided, plus benefits and pension as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of meeting the role's demands.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Able to follow training and maintain high cleaning standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms, corridors and public areas to the required standard.
• Daily cleaning tasks including waste, vacuuming, mopping and sanitation of dining rooms, lounges and lavatories.
• Weekly cleaning duties such as polishing mirrors, dusting radiators and completing upkeep of storage areas.
• Restock toiletries and maintain economical use of supplies.

Your Duties...

• Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the
• required standard.
• Daily Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Emptying waste bins and wiping out.
• Vacuuming throughout and mopping
• Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
• Cleaning taps and sinks.
• Spot cleaning all floorings.
• Weekly Cleaning (including but not limited to):
• Polishing all mirrors.
• Dusting handrails and radiators.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills.
• Washingfloors.
• Dusting pictures.
• Dusting light bulbs and fittings.
• Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
• Efficient and economical use of supplies provided.
• Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested.
• Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times.
