Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Assistant to maintain cleanliness and comfort across the home. You will help create a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for residents, following schedules and protocols.

Role involves teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to privacy and dignity. Full training provided; prior housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.

• Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to exceptional standards, following schedules and procedures.
• Ensure bedrooms and communal areas are clean, welcoming and hygienic.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control policies.
• Report faults and monitor housekeeping supplies to maintain high standards.
• Use initiative to address spillages or cleanliness issues promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in meetings and training.

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeping Assistants to join our team and help maintain the high standards our residents deserve.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our domestic team, ensuring every area of the home is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort. Your work will directly contribute to residents' wellbeing by creating a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment where they can truly feel at home. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, and every task you complete makes a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to exceptional standards, following cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Ensure bedrooms, communal areas and facilities remain clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents and visitors.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant legislation and policies.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly to the Maintenance Operative or General Manager.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report shortages to ensure the team has everything needed to maintain high standards.
• Use initiative to identify and address spillages or cleanliness issues immediately.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the home, contributing positively to meetings, training and the wider team culture.
• Support in creating a friendly, caring and supportive environment where residents feel valued and comfortable.

We're looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in delivering exceptionally high standards of cleanliness.

8:00am - 5:00pm

Permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off

Average 31.5 hours per week

Pay

£13.16 per hour
