Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain spotless, welcoming spaces for residents. You will follow schedules, support a hygienic home and help create a safe environment where residents feel cared for.

The role offers full induction training, paid breaks and ongoing development, with a permanent rolling rota and a focus on teamwork and resident wellbeing.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to exceptional standards, following cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Ensure bedrooms, communal areas and facilities remain clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents and visitors.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant legislation and policies.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly to the Maintenance Operative or General Manager.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report shortages to ensure the team has everything needed to maintain high standards.
• Use initiative to identify and address spillages or cleanliness issues immediately.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the home, contributing positively to meetings, training and the wider team culture.
• Support in creating a friendly, caring and supportive environment where residents feel valued and comfortable.

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeping Assistants to join our team and help maintain the high standards our residents deserve.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our domestic team, ensuring every area of the home is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort. Your work will directly contribute to residents' wellbeing by creating a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment where they can truly feel at home.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, and every task you complete makes a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities

Permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off

Average 31.5 hours per week

Pay

£14.05 per hour
