Crystal Care Collection in Brighton is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to ensure every area of the home is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will contribute directly to residents’ wellbeing by creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment where they feel at home.

This role offers varied, rewarding work with full training provided and opportunities to grow within a caring team. Join us on a permanent rolling rota with strong values and a supportive culture.

Formación

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable but not essential, training will be provided.
• Takes pride in delivering exceptionally high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Reliable, hardworking and organised.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and building positive relationships with residents and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to exceptional standards, following cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Ensure bedrooms, communal areas and facilities remain clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents and visitors.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all policies.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment is used safely and report faults promptly to relevant staff.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report shortages to maintain high standards.
• Address spillages or cleanliness issues immediately using initiative.
• Work with colleagues across the home and participate in meetings and training.
• Support in creating a friendly, caring environment where residents feel valued.

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeping Assistants to join our team and help maintain the high standards our residents deserve.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our domestic team, ensuring every area of the home is presented to the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort. Your work will directly contribute to residents' wellbeing by creating a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment where they can truly feel at home.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, and every task you complete makes a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to exceptional standards, following cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Ensure bedrooms, communal areas and facilities remain clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents and visitors.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant legislation and policies.
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly to the Maintenance Operative or General Manager.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report shortages to ensure the team has everything needed to maintain high standards.
• Use initiative to identify and address spillages or cleanliness issues immediately.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the home, contributing positively to meetings, training and the wider team culture.
• Support in creating a friendly, caring and supportive environment where residents feel valued and comfortable.

About You

• Takes pride in delivering exceptionally high standards of cleanliness.
• Has excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Is reliable, hardworking and organised.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and building positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Has good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working Pattern

• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off
• Average 31.5 hours per week

Pay

£13.16 per hour
