Job summary

Rectory Court in Blackheath, part of Cinnamon Care Collection, is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant on an ad-hoc bank contract. You will ensure the home, furnishings and linen are clean to high hygiene standards, with full training provided and opportunities for career development.

Rotas are planned in advance, with notice given for shifts. The role requires physical fitness, a compassionate and proactive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team to maintain a respectful,

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home, furnishings and linen clean to high hygiene standards.
• Assist with laundry duties and uniform management.
• Support a calm and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Rectory Court is a stunning residential home located in Blackheath.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Housekeeping/Laundry Assistants to work on an ‘as and when’ basis. This will be to cover ad hoc sickness and pre-planned annual leave. Rotas are planned in advance and you will be given notice of days/weeks to be work.

As a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant, you will ensure that our stunning home, its furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
