Job summary

Mornington Court is a luxury 57 bed care home within Cinnamon Care Collection seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant on an ad hoc basis to cover sickness and annual leave. Roles include keeping the home, furnishings and linen clean to high hygiene standards, with full training and DBS paid.

Paid breaks, uniform and company benefits are provided. You will be a reliable team player with care for residents, able to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to perform duties with or without assistive aids.
• Compassionate and caring by nature, team oriented and proactive.
• Organise and prioritise workload in a care home setting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the home, furnishings, equipment and linen to high standards.
• Ensure hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
• Assist with laundry duties as required and support team.

Mornington Court is a luxury 57 bed care home that provides the most luxurious surroundings and the very best in residential and dementia care and support.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Housekeeping/Laundry Assistants to work on an ‘as and when’ basis. This will be to cover ad hoc sickness and pre-planned annual leave. Rotas are planned in advance and you will be given notice of days/weeks to be work.

As a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant, you will ensure that our stunning home, its furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Full training and support is provided and career development is encouraged.
