Job summary

Emerson Grange is a soulful 85-bedroom care home seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant on an as-needed basis to cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness across shifts in Swanley, UK.

You will keep the home, furnishings, equipment and linen clean and safe, meeting high hygiene standards. Full training and career development support is provided.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties with or without assistive aids.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness on an ‘as and when’ basis.
• Keep the home, its furnishings, equipment and linen clean and safe.
• Meet high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Housekeeping/Laundry Assistants to join our team on an ‘as and when’ basis to cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness. Rotas are planned in advance so you will be given notice of the weeks/days to be covered.

You will ensure that our stunning home, its furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
