Job summary

Outram Fields in Bradway, Sheffield, part of the Cinnamon Care Collection, is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant. The role covers cleaning, linen and laundry duties across the home, ensuring high hygiene standards and safe, tidy environments. You will work as part of a team, follow a rota and may include weekend shifts.

We offer full training and support, with career development encouraged, along with a range of benefits and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour for a 32-hour week.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties with or without assistive aids.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Previous housekeeping/laundry experience in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the home, its furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times.
• Work to a rota and be flexible with working days, including some weekend work.
• Support a culture of high hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Outram Fields in Bradway, Sheffield is a beautiful care home providing 69 spacious ensuite bedrooms as well as 6 luxury suites. Our stunning home features luxurious lounges and dining rooms, an on-site café bar, a cinema and a professional hair and beauty salon and includes a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Housekeeping/Laundry Assistants to join our team. You will ensure that our stunning home, its furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. You will be part of a team and work to a rota and will require flexibility on working days.
