Job summary

The Grand Hotel Birmingham on Colmore Row invites applications for a Housekeeping Assistant. You will service guest bedrooms to Grand standard, ensuring immaculate beds, bathrooms and inviting corridors, and support a flexible housekeeping team to deliver a memorable guest experience.

We offer shift patterns up to 35 hours per week, typically 09:00-17:30 on weekdays and 10:00-18:00 at weekends, with generous benefits including £12.80 per hour, staff rooms and significantly discounted stays, free

• Previous hotel experience preferred.

Birmingham’s Grand Hotel on Colmore Row is housed in one of the city’s most iconic buildings.

The Grand Hotel features 185 bedrooms and extraordinary suites, a glamorous cocktail bar, a buzzing New York style restaurant, and eight magnificent meeting and event rooms - as well as the spectacular, Louis XIV-style Grand Ballroom.

Have you the care and attention to detail to prepare our beautiful rooms to a Grand Standard?

Our Housekeeping Assistants work within the “heart of the house” making sure the rooms are ready for guests when they arrive and the hotel is looking its best. The guest journey is paramount, so you'll help to deliver a fantastic experience for our guests, time and time again, by achieving Grand standards.

We have a variety of shifts available each week - up to including 35 hours per week
Usually working shift patterns from 09:00-17.30pm weekdays 10:00am-18.00pm at weekends

Previous experience in Hotels and of a similar high quality standard is preferred.
