HOUSEKEEPER & CHILDMINDER / NANNY
Salary £35,000pa (depending on experience and whether accommodation is required)

Location: Wateringbury, Kent (between Tonbridge and West Malling)

The Role

We are a professional couple seeking a reliable and proactive Housekeeper & Childminder/Nanny to join our household. This is a full-time position requiring flexible hours, including some weekends and occasional evenings.

Your primary responsibility will be maintaining a well-organized and smoothly running home, alongside childcare for our three children (aged 5 to 10).

Duties Include

• Cleaning, vacuuming, tidying; laundry and ironing; ensuring the home remains well-organized and maintained.
• Preparing simple, family-style suppers for the children, and washing up.
• Occasionally assisting with lunch/dinner parties and household entertaining.
• Assisting with school pick-ups; and taking and collecting the children to and from activities.
• Occasional babysitting, including overnight childcare when parents are away, approximately 2 nights a month.
• Accompanying the family on trips to Cornwall for housekeeping and childcare support.
• Caring for the family dog, including walking and feeding.

About You

You will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Energetic, positive attitude, kind, calm, and compassionate.
• Proactive, problem-solver, able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, flexible to support the family’s needs.
• Discretion, professionalism, and good personal presentation.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
• A full UK driving licence; access to a car will be provided if required.
• Dog-friendly attitude.
• Preferably, Italian speaker to support children’s language learning (not essential).
