Job summary

Brendoncare Foundation is seeking a Housekeeper at Froxfield, Wiltshire. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home, while protecting residents' safety and privacy during cleaning tasks. There are 34 hours per week with contracts for 18, 24 or 36 hours also offered.

A weekend shift uplift of 10% applies, with free meals on duty, paid breaks, and a DBS check provided. The position requires flexibility, reliability and a caring approach to older people.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home.
• Flexible attitude to working, reliability and caring disposition towards older people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home.
• Ensure safety and privacy of residents while performing cleaning duties.
• Keep adequate supplies of cleaning materials and store them safely.
• Report hazards and repair requirements.

Who are you?

We are seeking aHousekeeper who will need to have previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, be reliable and have a caring disposition towards older people.

What will I be doing?

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home;
• Ensuring the safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties;
• Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely;
• Reporting hazards and repair requirements;
• Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.
