Job summary

Brendoncare Froxfield in Wiltshire is seeking a Housekeeper to join our care home team. The role offers 18, 24 or 36 hour contracts with a pay rate of £12.85 per hour. A typical pattern is 34 hours per week, with an additional 10% weekend uplift available.

You will provide cleaning across the home, ensuring safety and privacy for residents and maintaining COSHH compliance. We provide free DBS checks, meals on duty, paid breaks, free parking, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

Who are you?

We are seeking aHousekeeper who will need to have previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, be reliable and have a caring disposition towards older people.

What will I be doing?

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home;
• Ensuring the safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties;
• Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely;
• Reporting hazards and repair requirements;
• Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.
