Job summary

Hastings Court is seeking a warm, reliable Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments for residents in our Hastings care home. You will join a friendly team dedicated to high-quality care and a home-like atmosphere.

You will perform daily cleaning, laundry, and deep-clean schedules, support infection control, and help create a welcoming space for residents and staff. Prior housekeeping in care settings is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is a bonus but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Engagement: Zero Hours (Bank)
