Job summary

Harpenden Springs is seeking a warm, reliable Housekeeper to join our care home team in St Albans. You will maintain high cleanliness standards in residents' rooms and communal areas and support infection control.

The role offers 40 hours per week, days shifts, and a permanent contract with pay of £13.20 per hour. Previous housekeeping in a care setting is a bonus; we value a kind, respectful approach and team spirit.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or care home setting preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Warm and respectful approach when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents' rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that put residents' wellbeing first.
