Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of Thamesfield Village and residents' homes. This zero-hour bank position covers sickness and holidays, offering flexible hours while delivering exceptional service.

You will clean apartments and communal areas, launder linens, and support light maintenance, upholding high standards of hygiene and safety for our ageing residents.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in residential or hospitality settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and a compassionate demeanour.
• Sensitivity to the needs of older adults.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning in residents' apartments: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing.
• Launder residents' linens and clothing with care.
• Keep communal lounges, dining areas and hallways clean and presentable.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village.

We are looking for a Housekeeper to provide the highest standards of cleanliness and service across Thamesfield Village and in residents homes while delivering excellent customer service. This is a zero hour Bank position to cover sickness and holidays.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our residents' homes and communal areas. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing regular cleaning tasks in residents' apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Laundering residents' linens and clothing with care and attention to detail.
• Keeping communal areas such as lounges, dining areas, and hallways clean and presentable.
• Assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the village.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanour.
• Sensitivity to the needs and preferences of older adults.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.
