Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society in Bourton-on-the-Water is seeking a Housekeeper and Cook to provide meals and resident support in a warm, community-focused environment.

The role requires cooking for up to 9 residents, strong organisational and customer service skills, and basic computer knowledge. Training and full team support are provided, with a permanent contract and a 27-hour rota.

Qualifications

• Confidence in cooking for up to 9 residents.
• Strong organisational skills to handle a variety of tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine understanding of the needs of older people.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel experience is a plus, but full training provided)

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome, home-cooked meals and be a friendly face for residents.
• Assist with general wellbeing and address issues as they arise.
• Support with budget management and admin tasks; training provided.

We are looking for a Housekeeper and Cook to join the team at Alistair House.

Role

Location: Rectory Lane, Bourton on the water, GL54 2AX
Hourly Rate: £13.61
Contract: Permanent
Rota: 27 hrsp/w Wednesday, Thursday, Friday / Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 9am to 6pm 1 hour lunch.
