Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a full-time housekeeper for Cygnet Pindar House, a 22-bed neuropsychiatric service for men. The role covers cleaning, daily and weekly regimes, stock replenishment and keeping equipment in good order, all under health and safety and COSHH rules.

Job description

Cygnet Pindar House, a 22-bed neuropsychiatric service for men with acquired brain injuries, is recruiting a housekeeper for a full-time, Monday-to-Friday post. The work centres on cleaning, daily and weekly cleaning regimes, stock replenishment and keeping equipment in good order, all under health and safety and COSHH rules. The setting is a purpose-built unit that also cares for men with progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington's disease, so the cleaning supports a therapeutic environment. Enhanced DBS clearance is required before start.
