The Wordsworth Inn in Grasmere is opening its doors and seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our housekeeping team from day one. With 55 bedrooms and a substantial food-led operation, you’ll help create exceptional guest experiences in a destination known for outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• Friendly and detail-oriented; able to remain calm under pressure and exceed guest expectations by responding promptly.
• Collaborates with housekeeping team to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms to high standards.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

A successful Housekeeper will be friendly and detail-oriented, able to remain calm under pressure and exceed guest expectations by responding promptly. As a key member of the Housekeeping team, you’ll work collaboratively, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Your duties will include cleaning rooms to our high standards, ensuring public areas are clean and welcoming, and promptly reporting maintenance issues. You’ll follow safety guidelines, work to create memorable visits for our guests and manage your stocks of linen, towels, and room supplies effectively.
