Working with CHAS provides a unique opportunity to support children and families to make the most of their precious time together; as a team, we make extraordinary things happen every day!

We are looking for two housekeepers to join our team at Rachel House in Kinross.

We have 35 hours available across four shifts per week, covering Friday to Monday. This role is well-suited to a Job Share arrangement, and we welcome applications for part-time hours.

For example, this could involve each person working four shifts per fortnight—one full weekend on (Friday to Monday) and the next weekend off. Alternatively, applicants could work two shifts per week on a rotating schedule covering shifts Friday to Monday. Lastly, we could consider shifts worked on set days every week (Friday to Monday).

Our Housekeepers play an essential role in maintaining the highest service levels within the Hospice. Join our Housekeeping team and help create a warm, welcoming environment. We take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adhering to Infection Prevention and Control practices to ensure a safe environment for our children, families, and staff.

  • Helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for families, visitors, staff, and volunteers.
  • Preparing our children’s and parents’ bedrooms for their stay with us.
About You
  • You will be kind, reliable, and friendly with good communication skills.
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience within a healthcare or commercial environment would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety and Infection Control Practices is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Looking to work somewhere that genuinely makes a difference.
