Job summary

Circle Health Group in Glasgow is seeking a Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team at Ross Hall Hospital. The role is 20 hours per week with a late afternoon to evening shift pattern (18:00–22:00, Mon–Fri).

The successful candidate will clean patient, public and staff areas, maintain a safe environment, replenish linen and consumables, and work across departments as required. Benefits include holiday, pension, private healthcare and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy competency required.
• Good communication skills essential.
• GCSE Maths and English at A–C or equivalent.
• Proficient with PC software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Be flexible to work in all departments including Theatre areas as required.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit for auditing.
• Comply with relevant mandatory training.

Salary: Up to £25,525.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be available to work from 18.00 - 22.00 Monday - Friday.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
