Job summary

Circle Health Group's Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen is hiring a Housekeeper on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract for 37.5 hours per week. The role is full time with a flexible shift pattern, within the Hotel Services department.

You will clean patient, public and staff areas; ensure a safe, pleasant environment; replenish linen and consumables; and work across departments, including theatre areas, with daily task sheets and mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy at least GCSE A-C level or equivalent.
• Proficiency in using a PC and software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work across all departments (including Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites as required.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.

Salary: Up to £24,947.11 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
