Job summary

North Hill House School, part of Aspris Children’s Services, is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join the support team in Frome. You will ensure environments are clean, safe and comfortable while covering all housekeeping tasks, with flexibility to respond to requests for assistance.

The role is 52 weeks per year, offering 18–25 hours per week (roughly 4–6 hours daily), depending on candidate preference. Training and induction are provided, with benefits including pension and DBS checks.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or site cleaning.
• Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace.
• Be organised, adaptable and thorough.

North Hill House School are recruiting for a part-time Housekeeper to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the homes and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

This position is 52 weeks per year, we can offer between 18 and 25 hours per week (around 4-6 hours per day) dependent on candidate preference.

Set in its own grounds close to Frome town centre, North Hill House is an independent specialist day school for children and young people aged 6 to 19 years with high functioning autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Syndrome and associated difficulties.

The following skills would be of benefit to the role:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or site cleaning position.
• A good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace, however training will be provided.
• You will be organised, adaptable and thorough in your approach to work.
