Job summary

Aspris Roehampton Gate School is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper / cleaner to join the support team. The role is 20 hours per week during term-time plus 4 weeks per year, with shifts from 3:30pm to 7:30pm and potential flexibility for the right candidate.

Aspris values a safe, clean environment and high standards of cleanliness across homes and school facilities. You will follow daily schedules, report any issues promptly, and help maintain a welcoming setting for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with daily cleaning schedules.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the role.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
• Ensures that Aspris minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
• Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
• Adopt new services that are already introduced within the group
• Use equipment efficiently, in order to gain a greater value for money

Roehampton Gate School and Putney Vale Campus are recruiting for a Housekeeper / cleaner to join our support team. This position is 20 hours per week during term-time + 4 weeks (43 weeks per year). Shifts can be completed between 3:30-7:30pm, but we are willing to be flexible for right candidate.

We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the homes and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

Roehampton Gate School (RGS) is a school for young people aged 9 -19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, SW London, we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment. Putney Vale is a dedicated post 16-19 provision in a brand-new, purpose-designed building in Putney Vale.

Main duties:

• Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

The successful candidate will have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork is completed in a timely manner and a good knowledge of health and safety legislation that is applicable to the role.
