Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a dedicated care assistant for Critchill Court Care Home in Frome. The role involves maintaining a clean, welcoming environment, supporting residents, and delivering compassionate care on site.

The position offers 30 hours over a two‑week cycle with weekend and Thursday shifts. We provide a competitive hourly rate of £12.72, a refer-a-friend scheme, funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5, discounts, pension scheme, and guaranteed interview opportunities for service

Qualifications

• Experience in care environment or with vulnerable adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas safe, clean, and welcoming.
• Dust, polish, and vacuum residents’ rooms to a high standard.
• Work with the management team to maintain hygiene standards.
• Bring warmth and kindness to residents through small acts—smiles, chats, and friendly presence.

• There is one position available working 30 hours over 2 weeks, with the following shifts:
• Week 1: Saturday 8am to 8pm, Sunday 8am to 8pm
• Week 2: Thursday 8am to 2pm
• Bank (zero hour) contracts also available
