About our Nursery

Busy Bees at Midlothian Newbyres is a 154 place nursery and offers two settings located just across the road from one another; Newbyres Hall which welcomes children under 3 and St Paul's for all children 3‑5 years old. Situated in the centre of Gorebridge village, our nursery is very convenient for families and our staff team who would like to make use of the excellent public transport links, including the new Borders Railway which is just a minute's walk away. There is also a public, free‑of‑charge car park to the rear of the nursery.

What to expect as a Nursery Housekeeper

• Work in partnership with the Nursery team to ensure that high level of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the Nursery.
• Whilst cleaning, you will ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.

• No formal qualifications required, though experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of hygiene.
