Job summary

Nazareth House Care Village in Belfast is seeking a dedicated Bank Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role requires experience in cleaning, attention to detail, and a commitment to high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe working practices.
• GCSE English (A-C or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and corridors.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure safe use, care, and storage of cleaning equipment and materials.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure resident areas are tidy and welcoming.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and corridors
