Job summary

Oakland Care in Birchwood Heights, Swanley is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas. The role includes daily cleaning, deep-clean schedules, and prompt laundry turnaround, with a focus on infection control and resident wellbeing.

We welcome warm, approachable individuals with housekeeping experience; the team values a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in care home is preferred.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents' rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents' wellbeing first.

Location: Birchwood Heights, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley BR8 7BT

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Contract: Zero Hours (Bank)

Shift: Days (including some weekends)
