Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Moorhill Care Home in Southampton, Hampshire. Full-time and part-time roles are available, including alternate weekend working.

You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home, support hygiene standards, and help with cleaning logs as part of a caring team. A compassionate nature and attention to detail are essential, with DBS checks part of onboarding.

• Compassionate and caring nature required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
• Good organisation and planning skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to highest standards.
• Understanding of health and safety as well as infection control and COSHH procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home clean and safe at all times, meeting hygiene standards.
• Dusting resident rooms, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining cleanliness of the environment.
• Complete cleaning logs and contribute to a happy, caring atmosphere.

The Role

As a Housekeeper, you will ensure the home is kept clean and safe at all times while meeting hygiene and cleanliness standards, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are dusting a resident’s room and reminiscing with them about their previous job, cleaning a bathroom, caring for houseplants or completing the cleaning logs, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
