Job summary

Grandir UK’s Little Monkeys Day Nursery in Horsham is seeking a Nursery Cleaner to help maintain a clean and hygienic environment for children and staff. The role offers regular pay reviews and a supportive team culture within a well‑trafficked nursery setting.

The successful candidate will perform daily cleaning tasks, follow established routines, and contribute to a positive learning environment. The position supports career progression opportunities within Grandir UK's network of nurseries.

Our Little Monkeys Day Nursery in Horsham is currently looking for a cleaner to join our team. They will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery.

Recently refurbished in July 2024, our nursery offers bright, spacious rooms in a warm and nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.

Location

Located on London Road near Swan Walk Car Park, with Horsham station nearby, our nursery is easily accessible and benefits from being close to Horsham Park.

Daily tasks will include:

• Cleaning of children and staff bathrooms
• Hoovering all carpeted areas of the nursery
• Sweeping and mopping the nursery’s hard floors
• Emptying all general waste bins

Weekly tasks will include:

• A damp clean of all skirting boards
• Cleaning all glass door panels
• Cleaning all door handles
• A damp clean of all windowsills

Monthly tasks will include:

• A deep clean of all nursery carpets
• A thorough dusting of the nursery
