Monkey Puzzle Horsham is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team in Horsham. Salary starts from £29,120 per year, with consideration of qualifications and experience.

The role focuses on delivering high standards of care and education under EYFS guidelines within a supportive environment. Location is on-site at Monkey Puzzle Horsham, with opportunities to contribute to child development, safeguarding, and collaborative work with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• GCSEs with grades 5–9/A–C or equivalent required.
• Level 2 or higher in Early Years education strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of safeguarding processes and child development.
• Able to participate in child observations and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
• Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children through knowledge of safeguarding processes.
• Implement the EYFS with understanding of child development.
• Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
• Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
