Job summary

Eastern High School, Cardiff, is seeking a House Support Officer (Grade 5) for a term-time contract. The role focuses on welfare, attendance and achievement of students within a House, with mentoring and coaching to help learners thrive throughout the academic year.

The post requires building strong relationships, monitoring progress and working closely with families and staff to remove barriers to learning in a trauma-informed, restorative environment.

• Experience in pastoral support or student welfare preferred.
• Ability to monitor attendance and progress.

Require a House Support Officer Grade 5 (term time only) Salary FTE £28,142 - £32,061 which needs to be pro rata for 39 week contract and for remaining weeks of this academic year. 37 hours per week
