Job summary

Corbenic Camphill Community Limited in Perthshire is seeking a House Manager to lead the day-to-day running of a residential household, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care and a warm, welcoming home for adults with learning disabilities.

You will manage a house team, oversee care plans, medication management, budgets and regulatory compliance, while upholding the Camphill ethos and supporting residents to live with dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in the learning disability sector.
• At least two years in a leadership or management role.
• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, with progression to SVQ Level 4.
• Person-centred approach promoting dignity, rights and independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the house team, including staff supervision, appraisals, training and rotas.
• Oversee high-quality, person-centred care, promoting residents' dignity, independence, wellbeing and choice.
• Ensure care plans, reviews and risk assessments are up to date.
• Manage medication, safeguarding, incident reporting, health and safety and regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with residents, families, welfare guardians, social workers and other professionals.
• Oversee household and resident finances, budgets, records and relevant audits.
• Coordinate the daily running of the household, promoting a warm, welcoming home environment in keeping with Corbenic's Camphill ethos.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corbenic to maintain high standards of care, support staff development and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and policies.
