Job summary

Corbenic Camphill Community Limited in rural Perthshire is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible within a warm, home-like community.

You will work as part of a house team, supporting daily routines, personal care and health appointments, while promoting dignity, wellbeing and residents' rights.

Qualifications

• Experience working in health or social care.
• SVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Relevant care training.
• Current SSSC registration

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Support with personal care, daily living activities and promoting independence.
• Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Support residents to attend healthcare appointments, workshops and community activities.
• Contribute to care planning and maintain accurate records.
• Promote residents' rights, choices and wellbeing.
• Prepare meals and carry out domestic duties including cleaning and laundry.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care.
• Maintain high standards in line with Health & Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice and Corbenic policies.
• Participate in training, supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Take part in sleepovers and a rota that includes evenings and weekends.
