Job summary

THE PIG is seeking a House Manager to be the operational heartbeat of the hotel, guiding teams and shaping guest experiences. You will own the guest journey from arrival to departure, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and delivering the warm, relaxed hospitality the brand is known for.

As a senior operations leader, you’ll drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, and commercial performance, with clear pathways to Deputy General Manager and Hotel Director roles within THE PIG.

Qualifications

• Hospitality leadership with hotel operations experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams.
• Strong attention to detail and guest service focus.
• Calm under pressure with problem-solving skills, exposure to OPERA or Fidelio desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and guest journey.
• Lead reception, spa/treatments, grounds/maintenance, and night team.
• Collaborate with Hotel Director and Deputy GM to drive satisfaction and performance.

At THE PIG, we believe unforgettable stays are created by exceptional people. We're looking for a passionate and driven House Manager to be at the heart of our hotel operation, leading teams, delighting guests, and helping shape the future of our business.

This is far more than a Reception or Rooms Division role. As House Manager, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the hotel, taking ownership of the guest journey from arrival to departure and ensuring every department works seamlessly together to deliver the warm, relaxed hospitality we're known for.

What You'll Be Doing

As a senior operational leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel, overseeing exclusive uses and private events, supporting and inspiring teams across:

• Reception
• Treatments
• Grounds & Maintenance
• Night Team

You'll be the go-to person for both guests and team members, confidently handling everything from guest requests and service recovery to operational decision-making and Duty Manager responsibilities.

Working closely with the Hotel Director and Deputy General Manager, you'll help drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, operational excellence, and commercial performance across the property.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and loves being where the action is.

You’ll bring:

• Management experience within hotels, rooms division, front office or guest services.
• A natural ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong operational knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence managing guest relations and solving problems under pressure.Experience with OPERA or Fidelio systems (desirable).
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
