Job description

We’re looking for entry-level leaders who are passionate and ready to collaborate, lead, and give their best every day! In this role, your responsibilities will include coordinating and troubleshooting daily activities of our customer service employees, as well as participating in store management duties and projects.

Through these responsibilities, you will gain a deep understanding of our values, business measures, and operations, experiencing everything from daytime to nighttime hours, often acting as a liaison between different areas of the store. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of customer service-focused team members, ensuring they have the tools and resources to be successful at their jobs. What will I do?
  1. Manage store operations independently between daytime and nighttime hours, acting as a key leader and liaison among teams and departments; responsible for opening and/or closing the store, with a varied schedule that changes weekly.
  2. Partner with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient front-end and checkout operations; monitor business and customer traffic, manage checkout lanes, and run registers as needed to reduce wait times.
  3. Manage the performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to customers and employees, acting as a champion for our values and standards throughout the store.
  5. Respond quickly to operational challenges, partnering with store leadership to problem-solve.
  6. Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at team-building and enhancing company culture.
Required Qualifications
  • Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail settings.
  • Proven ability to multitask and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and topics.
