Job summary

Hyatt Regency London Olympia is seeking a Shift Engineer to join the engineering team and carry out tasks and repairs across the property, ensuring high standards and a positive guest experience.

You will perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work in guest rooms and public areas, while maintaining safety and quality. Previous hotel engineering experience and a broad technical background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel engineering or a similar facilities role.
• Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the engineering team to deliver tasks and repairs across the property.
• Carry out engineering work in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, maintaining high standards and guest experience.
• Handle general engineering tasks across multiple disciplines while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Complete planned preventive engineering work within plant rooms, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of safety features and operational equipment.
