Qualifikationen

• Recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Strong background in building services operations within a complex, highly serviced environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and O&M manuals.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and confidence making decisions under pressure.
• Clear and professional communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of statutory compliance and Health and Safety obligations.
• 5 years’ experience in luxury hotels, hospitality or five‑star environments.
• Familiarity with premium guest‑service expectations.

Aufgaben

• Operating, monitoring, diagnosing and repairing core building infrastructure systems.
• Adjusting and optimising BMS controls for comfort and energy efficiency.
• Carrying out L8 water hygiene tasks in compliance with schedules.
• Delivering planned preventive maintenance and responding effectively to requests.
• Supporting statutory inspections and maintaining accurate engineering records.
• Performing first‑line diagnostics and safety‑critical interventions.
• Maintaining plant rooms and technical areas to high standards.
• Assisting the Maintenance Manager with in‑room maintenance.
• Responding to emergencies such as power outages and HVAC failures.
