Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Hotel Services Co-ordinator to supervise the daily domestic services operation at Arrowe Park Hospital. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards and a safe healthcare environment in line with NHS guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be flexible and capable of managing rosters and staff in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in cleaning or equivalent.
• ILM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in first Line Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of domestic duties and monitor timekeeping, duties and standards.
• Organise cover for absences, adjust rotas and document overtime.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Colour Coding, Uniform policies.
• Report accidents/incidents and complete required documentation.
• Oversee stock control and arrange requisitions for defects and repairs.
• Maintain regular communication with wards and Hotel Services.
• Collaborate with managers to maintain a fully functional service.
• Train and assess new recruits and ensure relevant documentation compliance.
