Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Hotel Services Co-ordinator to supervise domestic services staff and maintain high cleanliness standards within the trust’s facilities.

You will contribute to delivering a safe healthcare environment in line with national standards, with prior supervisory experience preferred. This role supports patient experience and requires good communication and flexibility in shifts at Arrowe Park Hospital.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in cleaning or equivalent.
• ILM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in first Line Management or equivalent.
• Experience supervising domestic services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of domestic duties, monitor timekeeping and standards.
• Organise cover for absences, adjust rotas, document overtime.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Colour Coding and Uniform policies.
• Report accidents/incidents and complete documentation.
• Process requisitions for defects and monitor repairs.
• Maintain regular communication with wards and Hotel Services.
