Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is helping a hotel on the beautiful south coast find a friendly Hotel Receptionist in Chichester. You’ll join a welcoming team and manage front desk tasks with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out.
• Take room reservations and allocate rooms.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve complaints.
• Upsell upgraded rooms and promote services.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping.
• Communicate check-outs, late check-outs and early check-ins.
• Process room charges, balancing and banking.
• Operate the switchboard.
• Check function sheets and liaise with departments.
• Use Guestline for day-to-day reception tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Checking guests in and out


• Taking room reservations and allocating rooms for walk-in guests


• Handling guest enquiries and resolving complaints professionally


• Upselling upgraded rooms and promoting other hotel services


• Coordinating room status updates with housekeeping


• Communicating check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins and special requests


• Processing room charges, balancing and banking


• Operating the switchboard


• Checking function sheets and liaising with all departments


• Using Guestline to support day-to-day reception operations
