Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the maintenance and physical operation of Aloft by Marriott Birmingham Eastside and The Eastside Rooms. You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate with other departments and ensure safety, efficiency and brand standards across the hotel and conference venue.

You will drive preventive maintenance, support energy efficiency, and manage contractors and supplies while ensuring high guest comfort and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a Maintenance role at managerial level (hotel/events)
• Experience in building trades and fault finding
• Able to drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Engages with brand standards and internal policies

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance tasks across hotel and venues
• Oversee maintenance of hotel systems, equipment and facilities
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and fire safety requirements
• Identify and address maintenance issues through regular inspections
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and manage maintenance supplies and contracts
