Job summary

Hotel du Vin Glasgow is seeking a friendly and energetic Porter to join our front office team. You will be the face of our hotel, greet guests, and support the front desk to deliver exemplary service in a 5-star setting.

We offer a chance to learn on the job with our apprenticeship scheme, plus internal development and progression opportunities across Malmaison & Hotel du Vin. Prior hotel experience is beneficial but not essential; a positive personality and a passion for service are a must.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar quality hotel is beneficial but not required.
• A friendly, sunny disposition and a passion for service are essential.
• Ability to handle guest queries with poise and a smile.

We are looking for a friendly, passionate and energetic Porter to join our front office team.

You will be the face of our hotel, get paid for doing what you love, get loads of perks and benefits, learn something new and make a career for life. You will strive to make our guests experience with Hotel du Vin the best it can be whilst dealing with queries of all shapes and sizes.

Meeting and exceeding every guests needs will be second nature to you. You will have a passion for beating guest expectations and within our 5 Star Hotel with its 3 AA Rosette restaurant you will be able to let this passion run free, assisting our guests and adding to their enjoyment by delivering amazing hospitality.

You are the first and last people our guests see, you set the tone for the visit and you can ensure that everything has gone above and beyond before they leave.
