We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Operations / Deputy Manager to join our team at Bartley Lodge Hotel in Cadnam. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of Our Operations Manager
  • Developing the hotel’s business in alignment with the group’s mission statement
  • Developing the team to achieve high standards of customer service through ongoing communication, training, delegation, and performance reviews
  • Maintaining the health and safety of guests, staff, and visitors through regular administration of fire procedures, equipment checks, swimming pool safety, and risk assessments
  • Controlling costs related to sales and overheads to meet budgeted profits, monitoring food, liquor, and staffing costs weekly
  • Collaborating with the Maintenance team to ensure high standards of repair and maintenance of the building and equipment
What We’re Looking for in Our Hotel Operations / Deputy Manager
  • The ability to work 45 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and busy holiday periods
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with at least 2 years of Duty Management experience in a hotel or similar business
  • Excellent customer service skills and understanding of food and drink service, allergens, and hygiene best practices
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example
  • Effective team management skills through performance management
