Job summary

Crowne Plaza Belfast is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the hotel's engineering and facilities team. You will implement maintenance programs, supervise staff, and ensure safety, quality, and guest comfort across all areas.

Working with the Maintenance Manager, you will schedule preventive work, oversee external contractors, manage repairs, and contribute to cost control and lifecycle projects while maintaining our high hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance in a hotel or customer facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of building services and safety standards.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to plan, schedule and supervise maintenance work and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff through safety checks and records.
• Maintain hotel building and contribute to a better guest environment.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with maintenance programs and scheduling.
• Oversee adherence to work orders and timely completion of tasks.
• Manage room and corridor maintenance for finishes, fittings and furniture.
• Perform basic repairs and coordinate external contractors when needed.
• Lead and train team members, ensuring compliance with H&S standards.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
