Job summary

The Hydro Hotel in Llandudno is seeking a part-time Hotel Maintenance Operative to join Alfa Holiday Group’s team. You will work roughly 16 hours per week, including weekends, at an hourly rate of £14.96.

Responsibilities include general maintenance around the hotel, logging issues in guest bedrooms and public areas, and assisting with refurbishment works as part of our rolling program. Safety compliance and guest satisfaction are priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and remain practical.

Alfa Holiday Group has an opportunity for a Hotel Maintenance Operative to join the team at The Hydro Hotel, Llandudno.

Hotel Maintenance Operative working hours:

As a Hotel Maintenance Operative, you will work circa 16 hours per week, including weekends with an hourly rate of £14.96, regardless of age!

Hotel Maintenance Operative Responsibilities:

As a Hotel Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for all general maintenance around the hotel, making sure guest satisfaction is prioritised whist adhering to all health and safety regulations. You will be responsible for logging and fixing issues in guest bedrooms and public areas promptly and efficiently. You will also get involved in larger projects and liaise with third party contractors, if you have a particular area of expertise. Compliance will be a key part of your role, in making sure weekly and monthly checks are completed as required. As we have a rolling program of refurbishments in all our hotels including room and public area upgrades, you will assist during the winter works program to ensure the hotel is well maintained and presentable, ready for the start of a new season.
